The „Local Processing“ Technology
Unlike traditional cloud services where you upload files to a server, our architecture is designed for maximum privacy:

When you use our tools (e.g., HEIC to JPG, Audio Extractor), the processing occurs exclusively within your browser’s local environment on your device. We technically cannot view, copy, or distribute your content because your files never leave your computer.
What Data Do We Collect?
We collect minimal data necessary for the technical operation of the website.
3.1 Technical Server Logs
When you visit our website, our hosting infrastructure automatically collects information transmitted by your browser. This includes:
- Browser type/version and Operating System.
- Referrer URL (the previously visited page).
- Time of the server request.
- IP address (anonymized or stored for a strictly limited period for security purposes).

Because your data (settings, workspace files) is stored locally on your device (in the browser cache/Local Storage), you have full control over its deletion at any time.
You can delete all data associated with ChangefileNow by:
- Clearing your Browser Cache and Cookies.
- Deleting the „Site Data“ for changefilenow.com in your browser settings.
⚠️ Warning: Permanent Data Loss
Please be aware: Because your data is only stored locally, clearing your browser cache/cookies will result in the permanent and irreversible loss of your current workspace and settings. We do not have a cloud backup to restore your data.
